Vincent Turner/ Alexander Mountain/ Clara at Oscar's on the Square

Vincent Turner is a Singer/ Songwriter from Hastings who is a big fan of Rock and Pop music.

After becoming dissillusioned with bands either breaking up or falling apart at the seams, Vincent enlisted a few friends to work on “The Voice of Reason”, an eclectic EP that helped him find his sound. That sound came about a few months later with “The Writing On The Wall”- a reflective Indie Rocker that asks what happens next when you feel like all your dreams are in the ground.

More recently Vincent has worked on a series of singles he hopes to eventually bring together under the name “Silent Sighs in the Dark”. Musically, these songs cross a range from anthemic Pop Rock to harder hitting numbers, but lyrically they dig deep, exploring various emotions and questioning how to get the best out of life.

Alexander Mountain, a singer songwriter who currently resides in Eastbourne, apparently self-penns tunes for his own ‘sanity’. Whereas Vince is much more inspired by Rock and dreams of big guitars huge choruses, Alex’s music takes more from Folk and Pop Singer Singer/ Songwriters- think Maggie Rodgers and Bon Iver.

A young talent, coming from a musical theatre background, Clara’s tunes are intimate in nature, and display a craft far beyond her age. She listens to quite a range of music, however ‘Volcano’ by Damien Rice is one of few covers she has, and clearly a huge inspiration on her.
