Back by popular demand! Hastings’ immersive history experience, Tressell’s Children returns for another limited season in the lead-up to Christmas at St Andrews Mews, Hastings.

Enter the recently uncovered, secret space in the Mews for a spellbinding sound and art experience that tells the stories of Hastings’ people. Tressell’s Children draws links between the stories of life in the interwar period and the earlier work of Robert Tressell, author of The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists.

Put on a headset and be transported by the memories of men and women who grew up between the wars. See new research that’s uncovered fascinating new facts about our town, and enjoy art inspired by the real lives of everyday people.

There’s also a chance to visit a new, virtual reality version of the exhibition. This accessible, 360 film experience recreates the exhibition in digital form with a few fresh, exciting twists.

Immerse yourself in the stories of Hastings’ people, told through audio pieces, art and film. The VR experience also includes previews of other works-in-progress by MSL.
