X Ray Cat Trio

Leeds’ favourite surf punks, X Ray Cat Trio play songs about love, hate, and
monsters. Wearing their influences on their sleeves, it’s clear they
draw faithfully from the authentic stylings of Billy Childish, Dan
Sartain, nasty 50’s rockabilly, gritty 60’s garage and trashy 70’s punk
rock. This is no-messin’ rock and roll at its finest.

The ‘I Lied’ EP was recorded by Adam Richards onto 16 track reel to reel in
the Winter of 2016. 4 tracks, 2 with vocals, 2 instrumentals,
influenced by the Sonics, Link Wray, Flat Duo Jets and The Legendary
Shack Shakers. The E.P. was released in May 2017 through the German
label Killjoy Records,

Louder Than War. “Four tracks of mashed up psychobilly, surf guitar, doo-wop

attitude, its dark, jagged and will fuck you over with a smile – nasty
rock and fuckin’ roll!”

UK Rock’n’Roll Magazine “It’s Vinyl Gold, get one while you can’

Here is what people say about their first album ‘Out for Blood’

Gavin Jay (Jim Jones Revue/Righteous Mind) : “jagged, twisted, fucked-up
Schizobilly. Great playing and wild energy. A shot in the arm for rock n
roll.”

UK Rock’n’Roll Magazine. “Echo and fuzz laden inter-genre-fuck-fest of
surf, spaghetti-western and rockabilly guitar all drenched in attitude”
