A weekend of festivities to welcome the coming of summer! With Morris dancing, giants, drumming, sessions, concerts and ceilidhs.

On the Monday Jack leads the grand procession through the Old Town before being slain to release the spirit of summer!

The Museum of British Folklore and why we need one

Simon Costin, long time Hastings Traditional Jack in the Green (HTJITG) supporter, Director of the Museum of British Folklore and co-curator and designer of Making Mischief: Folk Costume in Britain, talks about his take on HTJITG and how the museum project came to be created and all the various exhibitions culminating in the Making More Mischief project.
