House Of House celebrate their 5th Birthday with the legendry Danny Howells
With the House Of House celebrating its 5th birthday in late 2023 of throwing some of the best House & Tech nights in Hastings of recent years, we are are honoured and delighted to have return to his home town the absolute legend & gentleman that is DANNY HOWELLS as our next guest DJ back in the venue where it all started for The House Of House, Blackbox Hastings (Formally BlackMarket VIP)
Known for his groove laden and seemlessly mixed Deep House, Tech & Progressive sets across the world Danny Howells started off as the resident for Bedrock alongside John Digweed on Hastings Pier before also taking on some of the best bookings & residencies worldwide including Renaissance, Twilo in New York City amongst many others and becoming a fixture on the internationally famous Global Underground Mix CD Series.
He continues to play the biggest clubs and festivals worldwide ( often B2B2B alongside Darren Emerson and Dave Seaman as ‘3D’ ) and and continues to produce stunning music including beloved tracks as Science Dept and his own iconic label in Selador.
Supporting Danny on the night we have HOH residents the ‘Chill DJ’s ( Shrunken Shadows & DanM ) The smooth and groovy Gina D and to finish of an amazing evening the always incredible Japhy!
We are honoured to give you this line up and hope that you join us on our 5th birthday to celebrate with us!

Danny Howells doesn’t fit into the standard dance music paradigms. With a reputation as “the DJs’ DJ”, he has remained stoic in the face of ever-shifting trends and fads in dance music since he broke through into the global house music consciousness in the late-’90s.
He doesn’t churn out productions to “remain relevant”, instead only releasing music as and when inspiration strikes. He’s not a publicity hungry, social media devotee. He’s not someone who feels the need to reinvent himself with new monikers or side projects, nor someone who aggressively pursues a maxxed-out DJ’ing schedule.
Quietly ploughing his way through the house music continuum, he has remained one of the world’s most captivating selectors precisely because of these organic means. That and his impeccable selection, distinctive style and silky mixing, of course.
