Alice Rowe

Based in London, but originally from Hastings, Alice Rowe is an English R&B, soul singer and songwriter whose shows are going from strength-to-strength alongside the increasing amount of national radio airplay she is getting through BBC 1Extra.

Biography

She kicked things off originally with her first track on Soundcloud ‘Uninterested’, which was produced by Grammy-nominated producers M16 beats, Skhye Hutch, Nabeyin and Bigg Kid – who have produced for names such as Drake, 2Chainz, Joey Badass and Kendrick Lamar.

From here on, Alice created her own lane, consisting of her deep distinct vocals over an R&B or bouncy trap beat.

Alice’s second release, on platforms such as Spotify and iTunes, was ‘Black Opium’ produced by Zdot Productions.

This release was essentially ‘the start of her journey’ – it talks about vision, ambition and staying on track.

Since then Alice has been working in the studio with producers in London to develop her sound more.

Her single ‘Figure You Out’ premiered on BBC 1Xtra with Dj Ace, who said

“She is a singer who started her journey on Soundcloud and is making some awesome awesome records… Awesome tune. You will be hearing more of that on 1Xtra”.

Since then she has been played by 1Xtras DJ Target and BBC introducing in the South.
