In the late 19th century there were 80-90 licensed premises in the Old Town and three breweries. Today there is a fraction of that number. The walk lasts about 1.5 hours and includes some steps and inclines. Pre-bookable only via ohps.org.uk/walks or at the Fishermen’s Museum, Rock a Nore. £6 per person.
