Starlite & Campbell
Flying in the face of disposable music. An analogue-centric exploration of art-rock, British blues and the space between. Latest album – Starlite. One – eight stars Classic Rock Magazine
Suzy Starlite and Simon Campbell don’t just write songs; they document life through a uniquely British lens. Formed in 2016 after a “whirlwind musical romance” that saw them marry and start a band within years of meeting,
Suzy Starlite and Simon Campbell have built a reputation for electrifying live chemistry and a refusal to stay in one lane. Starting out as a powerhouse blues-rock outfit, the duo have shared the stage and studio with members of Procol Harum and Nine Below Zero.
While their early hits like Walkin’ Out The Door and Lay It Out on Me are essential for fans of groovy, guitar-driven rock, their recent work—like the multimedia project Starlite. One—delves into the experimental worlds of art-rock and electronica.
Whether they are delivering a “shot of hard-rock espresso” or a brooding, synth-led meditation on the modern world, Starlite & Campbell remain fiercely independent and authentically themselves.
