Music’s Not Dead, the much-loved Bexhill record store has found a new home upstairs at the De La Warr Pavillion, and they relaunched the brand in style with a pop-up gig in the venue’s cafe space where the record boxes are now to be found.

Featuring the all-girl teen-grunge upstarts, The Kiffs, a BBC 6 Music (and now Radio 2) favourite, Tom Williams, and the relentlessly melodic Equatorial Group, the night was a brilliant success with a full room and a great vibe.

We’re promised more where this came from in the future, and it’s a safe bet that with the spectacular sea views this will become a ‘must play’ gig space for any band wanting to perform somewhere just a little bit special.
