A weekend of iconic live bands are promised for 26 and 27 May, 2018 as a two-day festival of 80s classics plus a collection of soul, jazz, funk and hip hop acts hit The Oval in Hastings for what is promised to be the first of a series of annual events.
Saturday 26 May will be branded ‘Luv80s’ and is being staged by the organisers in conjunction with More Radio. Sunday’s family day will also feauture a huge line-up of what are also promised to be top acts spanning a variety of groovy genres.
James Tovey, one of the people behind the event, said: “This is the first year of this festival and we hope to make it an annual affair. We’ve a trusted history in event promotion that started in 1994 at the Crypt on Robertson Street. We were responsible for the majority of the all night events on Hastings Pier in the 1990’s, and have run successful events all over the country at some of the nations premier music hotspots.”
