Hastings Fringe 2018 is now accepting entries from artists and performers be part of one of the most colourful and exciting arts festivals in East Sussex.

In putting out a call for performers and artists, the organisers said: “We’re putting together a fantastic arts programme for June and July 2018 which seeks to showcase a wealth of creative talent. As such, if you’re a performer, writer, artist, group, or just want to get involved – we want to hear from you.”

Hastings Fringe offers innovative performance opportunities in a range of diverse venues throughout Hastings and St Leonards. As well as being free to see other Fringe shows, those who take part also get to network and be part of a vibrant community of artists.

There is also a chance to try out new material. As the organisers say: “Performers wishing to develop shows for Edinburgh will be able to test their work and gather valuable reviews and audience feedback.”

PR Coordinator for Hastings Fringe 2018

Reumeration: Fee £2000.00 - to be paid at intervals of £400 pcm

Description
We require PR support to - amongst other specific goals:

Create and sustain buzz and excitement about a newly-established arts fringe festival and related projects among our target audiences

Drive attendance to and engagement in, Hastings Fringe Festival related events and with online projects

Achieve print, broadcast and online coverage in national and local media for all projects

Raise the profile of projects among those working in the arts and environment fields with coverage in specialist arts and environment media where appropriate

This will include delivery of the following:

A PR plan developed in close discussion with the project teams and partners outlining print, broadcast and online targets (national and local) and topics/ stories for pitches

A specific plan to reach specialist arts & environment sectors and specific audience segments

Full press campaigns

Support in commissioning copy by a journalist which can be adapted and syndicated to local press for each event, provided alongside images of each site, sourced from project partners.

Work with digital agency partners

Attend Fringe and Arts Festival events as directed by the Fringe Team, and provide high quality photographs and digital footage of these events as required

Liaise with artists and actively promote all aspects of the Fringe and Festival
