Skiffle at The Albion

Proper old-fashined skiffle tunes in a brilliant pub setting.

There’s music every Tuesday evening at the Albion. Second and fourth Tuesdays it’s the the organised chaos of our “house band” the Albion Skiffle Company.

The band has been going for around 7 or 8 years now and started as a casual Tuesday night together usually with one man and a dog as an audience. Nowadays the night rocks and if you plan to eat make sure you book a table!

A mix of traditional skiffle numbers as a bedrock topped up with just about anything played on a multiverse of instruments.
Good mates, good times and it’s different every single time with the occasional hint of genius…
