Step into a digital adventure inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry and the world of the Normans.
Developed by artist Kester Sheridan, The Norman Quest is a web-based treasure hunt that invites children and families to explore either the Robsack or Downs Farm neighbourhoods with a smartphone.
Using a simple online map, players follow clues and walk to marked points around the route to search for Norman themed virtual items hidden in the landscape such as shields, helmets, banners and characters.
When you arrive at each spot, your phone reveals a virtual item to collect along with questions that bring Norman history to life.
All you need is a smartphone with internet access.
