The Clarence has recently had a makeover and smartened up its act without losing any of the authentic feel of a proper town centre pub.

Sensible drinks and sensible prices and a solid line-up of proper pub bands playing most weekend evenings.

The Clarence is easy enough to find in Middle Street – the short road between Costa Coffee and the Priory Meadow shopping centre square.

They visited the station today and presented the cheque to our Coxswain and Mechanic and were treated to a tour of the boats 😊
