About The Jenny Lind

The Jenny Lind is a Hastings institution.

It’s just up the High Street from Geaorge Street on the left hand side, and you’ll more often than not hear live music and laughter spilling from its doors.

Inside you’ll find a wide selection of guest ales, and you can choose to sit in either the front bar, the back bar, or if you head up the stairs, the ‘secret’ (whoops!) garden.

The front bar is where the action is. It has an eclectic collection of bits and bobs decorating its stage, and the music is always at the top end of the quality spectrum. Weekends have regular late afternoon/early evening live sets, and Thursday nights with The RX Shantymen are definitely worth a visit.

The Jenny Lind

Prepare to be bewitched, bemused, astounded and amused as on Wednesday 12th December at 8pm it'll be our utmost pleasure to welcome aboard the Good Ship Jenny once more the inimitable Captain Of The Lost Waves.

We would say that if you've been lucky enough to witness a Captain performance previously then you know what to expect, except that would not be entirely true.
Like snowflakes, no two performances are exactly alike.

For those yet to experience this singularly unique performer you don't simply watch: you behold, engage and participate (maybe with a kazoo!).
