About The Jenny Lind

The Jenny Lind is a Hastings institution.

It’s just up the High Street from Geaorge Street on the left hand side, and you’ll more often than not hear live music and laughter spilling from its doors.

Inside you’ll find a wide selection of guest ales, and you can choose to sit in either the front bar, the back bar, or if you head up the stairs, the ‘secret’ (whoops!) garden.

The front bar is where the action is. It has an eclectic collection of bits and bobs decorating its stage, and the music is always at the top end of the quality spectrum. Weekends have regular late afternoon/early evening live sets, and Thursday nights with The RX Shantymen are definitely worth a visit.

Who managed to see Roger Hubbard last night? Judging by the noise of the crowd and how many of you came along, he smashed it! We all really enjoyed it too. A huge thanks to Roger and his band.

Tonight, you'd best get in early, it's going to be another marvelous musical treat... The Curst Sons are kicking off your Saturday night from 6pm! We love it every time this trio performs on our stage, and we know that you do too.

Not only that, but we also have some brand new beers on too. A highlight beer for today, the Howling Hops House IPA, a powerfully full bodied IPA, with a lovely cirtus finish. Careful with it though, it's 6.9%!

A long Easter Weekend of music at the Jenny starts this evening as we welcome back The RX Shantymen and the sessioneers for the weekly Shanty Sessions from 9pm.

And if you can't get enough of those maritime miscreants here then you can take them home with you in the form of a live CD (£10 from the bar).
