About The General Havelock

The General Havelock is in the middle of the new part of Hastings and is a traditional pub with a real mixture of people who seem to call it home. It’s also really welcoming, so give it a try for the first time and join the family.

The main bar is warm and cosy, with some amazing painted tiles that are worth the trip alone. Outside there is a sun-trap seating area with four or five tables – get there early on a sunny day for a good seat.

There’s usually a few good ales on tap, and the food is well-cooked and well-priced.

Live music is an eclectic range of all the best bands and performers Hastings has to offer… so hunt out something that takes your fancy and give it a try… you’ll be glad you did.

Tuesday nights are open mic…
