An intimate house concert by the astonishing ‘Touki’, music from East to West Africa by way of Appalachia, hosted by Gaby & Lyle.
Touki (‘journey’ in the Wolof language) conduct incandescent kora and guitar-led song expeditions, guided by Parisian-american guitar/banjo sorcerer Cory Seznec, Senegal-born kora/percussionist Amadou Diagne and cellist/5-string violinist Marius Pibarot. Opening set from loco mojo hobo Pepe Belmonte.
