The Electric Palace is an independent community cinema in the heart of Hastings Old Town, East Sussex, UK. Electric Palace aims to bring you a wide choice of alternative films and film-related events. They have a licensed bar and offer a tempting range of refreshments, including wines from Artisvin, local ales, Gluten Free beer, and Fairtrade coffee. The cinema survives solely on ticket and refreshment sales and the team of 30 dedicated volunteers to staff the screenings. Your on-going support maintains a diverse and exciting programme. The Cinema Plus events offer the opportunity to hear films specially introduced by invited guests and film experts, or to participate in an informal question and answer session after the film – all those interested are welcome to stay for these at no extra cost.
