Fascism triumphed in the 1930’s in Germany, Italy, Spain and elsewhere. Hitler came to power and crushed the workers’ organisations and destroyed all democratic institutions. Fascism led to the holocaust.

Hitler could have been stopped but the very big left wing and socialist parties failed to organise effectively. As the threat of fascism rises again we cannot afford to make catastrophic mistakes again. We have to learn from history to build the biggest and best movement against fascism again.
