🔮The sonic brotherhood of Erol Alkan and Richard Norris, BTWS was initially established with a mysterious, instantly celebrated series of edits that subtly re-imagined obscure and beloved psych classics, tipping them towards the dancefloor.
⚡Soon they had applied their touch to The Chemical Brothers, Franz Ferdinand and Midlake, as well as the entirety of the Temples’ debut ‘Sun Structures’, renamed as ‘Sun Restructured’.
🧙♂️Beyond The Wizards Sleeve and the cream of alternative psych-talent finally released their debut LP of original material ‘The Soft Bounce’ on Phantasy in 2016. It was hailed by The Guardian as “60s psychedelia goes acid house… an album that uses a deep knowledge of the past to find its own unique niche in the present.”
