AIP……Adventures In Pop: a monthly night of original, creative music from left-of-field with special guests put together and supported on the night by The Barbarian Horde, Montague Armstrong and Rippengal.
Their special guest this month is a Japanese artist on tour – FERRET NOISE!
FERRET NOISE is the solo project from Tokyo-based Japanese songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Yayoi Tsushima (vocals, keys, bass, programming).
She is already well-known in Japan for her role as founder and bassist of cult indie grrrl rock band Tsushimamire, a career spanning 25 years and just as many world tours and albums.
Through FERRET NOISE, Yayoi delves deeper into the sonic spectrum, embracing experimentation and playfulness through her own personable brand of beat-driven, Casio-fuelled, very emotive and quirky electro-clash.
