Electric Palace TV Festival: I ❤︎ Ads

Copywriter Richard Russell has been dreaming up ads for 40 years.
He wrote the most awarded commercial in advertising history and once made a cinema audience burst into applause.
Here he presents a hand-picked collection of brilliant TV commercials – forgotten beauties and unseen crackers – accompanied by insights and analysis that give you a sneaky peek behind the advertising curtain.

Come and enjoy a nostalgic afternoon celebrating Hastings as the birthplace of TV as part of Electric Palace Cinema’s TV Festival, EP’s annual celebration of the small screen. This year our third edition marks a hundred years of television in its birthplace. We’ve teamed up with Hastings TV Museum to bring you the best classic cartoons, rarely-seen gems and cult comedy.
