September sees the welcome return of Hastings Seafood & Wine Festival, the first fish festival to be held in Hastings for nearly two years.
Held as always over the third weekend September (18th /19th), the event showcases the very best in local seafood, wine, and music. Its location on the Stade open space, in the Hastings’ Old Town, means that we talk about food metres, not food miles, as the site is literally on the fishing beach.
The festival will have the popular mix of food and drink stalls, and Harvey’s will again be supplying the beer in the entertainment marquee, and, as always, there will be some great music to listen to – as well as food demos in the Classroom and the Coast and children’s entertainment in the Stade Hall.
Open daily from 11:00 to 18:00 Saturday and Sunday.
Wristbands covering admission for the whole weekend are on sale from Sat 31st July and priced at just £4 in advance (from the Hastings new Visitor Information Centre next to Hastings station), and £5 on the gate.
