Bexhill 60s Revolution 2019

A huge town-wide, free festival in Bexhill-on-Sea in July 2019 – celebrating the decade that changed history for everyone forever.

Featuring the fashion, the music, the dances, the vehicles and above all the social history that made the sixties so special…you don’t want to miss this…

Acts confirmed include:

  • The Counterfeit Stones – described by Mick Jagger as “The most famous Stones band in England”.

  • Beatles For Sale – one of the best Beatles tribute bands around, they’ll be showcasing the Magical Mystery Tour, with a spectacular finale on the roof of the De La Warr Pavilion.
  • Bond Stunts – Our stunt men will be back, performing Bond action on the streets of Bexhill.
  • Meyer Dancers – The UK’s leading 1960s dance troupe will be holding dance workshops on the De La Warr Pavilion terrace.
  • Austin Powers – Brian Allanson, Britain’s much-loved Austin Powers lookalike, will be bringing the groove to the 60s Revolution.
  • Carnaby Village Retro Market – including everything from fashion to vinyl records.
  • Freak Flag (musicians bringing the sounds of Hendrix and Cream), hundreds of 1960s vehicles, plus performances from Diana Freeman School of Dance, East Sussex School of Performing Arts, 1066 Roller-dance and Hastings Stage Studio.
