We’ve just been rumaging through our photos from New Year’s Eve and we reckon we had a great time of it!

Kicking off the night at The Albion with Sam Wills and Helen Sharp and the Soulshine Band we loved the cocktails and got straight into the party vibe thanks to the always warm hospitality of one of our favourite pubs in the area.

Then it was hot-foot to Crowley’s and just in time to catch an acoustic set from King Size Slim – playing in the round with no amplification except for his voice and guitar Toby held the crowd int he palm of his hand.

Things ramped up several gears though when Kid Kapichi hit the stage at full throttle.

With national radio airplay coming out of their ears right now (including an interview of Radio 1 and a feature spot on 6 Music plus exposure on John Kennedey’s Radio X show) 2019 looks like being Kid Kapichi’s year… maybe helped by the title of their latest release…2019

And just because it would have been rude not to we saw out the end of the evening at Blackmarket VIP where the party never seems to end these days…

Here’s to a great 2019 Hastings – you are all amazing!
