Three very different acts took the stage at De La Warr Pavillion this week and delivered three very different moods.
Gris-De-Lin is a multi-instrumentalist whose sound is typified by a voice that sits low in the mix whilst soundscapes swirl and wash around the room.
Ben Ottewell is always going to be know as the singer from Gomez, and true-to-form he handed out a few of his band-standards – but his solo material equally stands up to any scrutiny you might care to put it under. An original voice that is instantly recognised.
The Feeling are exactly what everyone wants them to be – a joy-fuelled explosion of energy wrapped in perfect pop songs.
A great night, and one to remember.
