A week or so ago we stopped being able to collect Facebook events directly into our calendar.
This was the direct result of the Cambridge Analytica crisis, which led to Facebook locking the doors to much of its data ‘temporarily’.
We don’t know how long this will last, and it looks like Facebook don’t either as we have asked their press office twice for some answer – and have yet to receive a reply of any sort (except for the auto-response that they will reply as soon as possible…).
In the meantime, as a stopgap, we’re collating all the events we can track down on our own FB page calendar. So if you are putting something on in Hastings and want it adding just drop us a line to john@hastingsflyer.com.
