It’s always a good sign when potential paying guests are having to be turned away well before the headline act hits the stage – so it was great news all around for The Palace last night, which was creaking at the seams with a capacity crowd for the one and only – Danny Rampling.

The man who helped found the UK rave scene and who was the first everrecipient of DJ Mag’s No 1 DJ in the World Award hit the decks at the turn of midnight and a party that was already in full swing was immediately cranked up to 11.
