Jake Bugg is bringing his timeless melodies and insightful lyrics to Bexhill’s De La Warr Pavilion this month.

TICKETS ON SALE HERE

Jake’s solo world tour starts tonight (5 Nov) in Cardiff, and by the time he reaches Bexhill he’ll have notched up a dozen shows in England and Ireland.

The tour then takes him across American and Europe before returning to the UK for a further string of dates in the spring.

In total he’ll be doing 60 shows, and it’s a safe bet the vast majority will be completely sold out.

His new album, ‘Hearts That Strain’ entered the UK charts at number 6, and the ‘Lightening Bolt‘ star definitely looks set to keep the hits coming.

Rich Hall’s critically acclaimed new show begins its second leg of touring and is coming to Bexhill on Sea this November.

There has never been a better time to be an American comedian in the UK. Hall's precision dismantling of the tenuous relationship between two countries is as freewheeling and deadly accurate as ever.

His BBC Four documentaries, most recently Rich Hall's Countrier Than You and Rich Hall's Presidential Grudge Match and BBC Radio 4 series Rich Hall's (US Election) Breakdown have built him a new legion of followers, as has appearances on Have I Got News For You and QI. But if you've only ever seen Hall on TV, you've short-changed yourself.

The Hoedown begins as a withering dissection of Trump's America, but ends up being a celebration of Americana. There's stand-up, improvised ballads, cracking good musicianship, and ultimately a hilarious, foot-stomping, shit-kicking good time to be had by all. Even if you don't own a hoe.

One of the most profound indie bands in the past decade, the majestic sounds of Grammy nominated and Billboard topping Fleet Foxes' return is something to behold.

This is a rare appearance after their last sold-out performance at the Brighton Dome.

Their new album Crack-Up delves into epic powered and long transcendental songs, including their trademark sparkling harmonies, and has earned the same critical praises as its predecessors, cementing their place in an important part of musical history.

Fleet Foxes’ self-titled debut (out on indie label Bella Union) made a profound impact on the international musical landscape, earning them Uncut’s first ever Music Award Prize, and topping numerous ‘Best of” lists’, including Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Albums of the 2000s and Pitchfork’s 50 Best Albums of 2008. Fleet Foxes is certified Gold in North America and Platinum in both the UK and Australia. The follow-up album Helplessness Blues was met with the same critical praise as its predecessor (Mojo five stars, Rolling Stone four stars, Pitchfork Best New Music); that album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200, went Gold in the UK, and earned the band a GRAMMY nomination. Past member Josh Tillman aka Father John Misty now a successful musicianship in his own right, was also part of the band for a long time.

“Likely to be the most remarkable album you will hear this year… the return of one of the most original bands of this century.” – The Times

“These 11 tracks are immersive, shifting creations, retaining the heavenly signature harmonies of FF’s previous work, while further expanding the band’s sound.” – The Observer

THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY 10 DECEMBER 2017

The much-loved trio take the DLWP stage this summer performing new music from their upcoming album 'Home Counties' out 2 June.

The new album contains 19 ‘tracks’ inspired by their bitter-sweet relationship with the eponymous shires that have always been part of their lives. It was recorded in the summer and autumn of 2016 and it’s co-produced by Shawn Lee of Wall Of Sound and Young Gun Silver Fox fame.

Sarah Cracknell says: “We had so much fun writing for this album, drawing influence from our teenage years growing up in the home counties. Bob, Pete and I led almost parallel lives while I was in Windsor and they were in Surrey, developing our passion for music and London. Shawn Lee was a joy to work with, he’s a wonderful multi-instrumentalist who seemed to have some kind of telepathy with us and translated our ideas perfectly. The record is quite varied in styles and brings together a little something from all our past albums whilst sounding completely new.”

Going on to release her strong debut follow up, Freedom, in 2013, and then her third studio album Lady Sings The Blues (covering a number of jazz classics made famous by Billie Holiday), Rebecca shows off her versatile style with ease. Her fourth album Superwoman released last year, shows Rebecca has come a long way from the shy twenty-something audiences first saw on television 7 years ago.

Milton Jones is Out There. No, really out there and this time he hasn't just forgotten his keys. He's holding up the mirror of truth to society, and he can see right through it, which means its probably just a window.

In his brand new show he'll be putting his foot down and lifting the lid on the pedal bin of lies of the media (which doesn't include this press release obviously). He will also be scaling the heights of fashion at the risk of falling into a terrible cravat.

Milton will be talking about his life so far - the ups, the downs and why buying his own see-saw was the best decision he ever made. But perhaps he should give all this up and seek the highest office in the land - but how do you get a desk and a swivel chair up a mountain? Oh and now he wants to be Prime Minister too. Is life that bad or have we good reason to complain about it? Are we filled with righteous anger at a world gone wrong or are we all just a bunch of whiny little brats? In short, are we spoiled? Come and watch as Byrne takes this question, turns it upside down and shakes it until the funny falls out. Go on, spoil yourself.

Opening this concert will be Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture, which conjures the sights and sounds of Scottish scenery, from calm still waters to intense and dramatic storms. Elgar’s regal and mournful Elegy for strings sets the scene for the tranquil, quiet opening of Tchaikovsky’s sublime Violin Concerto. With its unrelenting energy and use of Russian peasant dance rhythms, this stunning piece is notably one of the most difficult violin concertos in the repertoire.

Closing the concert is Beethoven’s stirring Symphony No.7, which combines a wonderful blend of orchestral gravitas and swelling tunes used to great effect in the film The King’s Speech.
