Hastings: Saturday night’s the night for funky jazz and indie harmonies…
It’s safe to say that you must put your dancing shoes on next time Mister Super Juice are in the house at The Jenny Lind.
Because their infectious grooves are 100% guaranteed to have even the most leaden-footed of us moving to the rythmn of timeless cinematic funk.
We hear they are hitting the stage again in the summer – so get along early because this is one you have to try for size.
Of course if you’re more in the mood for tight vocal harmonies over pin-sharp guitar riffs, all delivered in style by one of the BBC’s favourite young one-to-watch bands from the region you need to keep your eyes peeled for Alibi.
We took a walk to the General Havelock to make sure they are still on form…and we can confirm the band are not only still on fire – they’re getting hotter every time we see them.
It will take some careful bomb disposal work to stop them from exploding onto the national scene before much longer. A classic case of ‘catch them now before they’re too big to play small venues any more.’
